SUMMARY:Victim Engagement Training
DESCRIPTION:(2 Day – In Person): When you sign up for this event you are signing up for both training days September 15th and 16th. \n\n\n\nThis interactive workshop explores how restorative justice processes\, like Youth Diversion Teams\, can meaningfully include and empower victims of harm. Participants will examine the principles of victim-centered practice\, explore barriers to victim participation\, and learn strategies to create safe\, supportive\, and trauma-informed spaces. Through case studies\, reflective dialogue\, and practical exercises\, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of what genuine victim engagement looks like and how to balance accountability\, repair\, and healing within restorative frameworks. (Eligible for 12 CECs) \n\n\n\nEligibility: \n\n\n\n1.  JRB/YDT Facilitator or Case Managers only2.  Have previously taken RJ 101 and 2013.  Must attend both days of training
